Pitigliano, Sorano And Sovana

Chasing The Sun Travel

This tour is for those who search for not beaten and not touristy place in Tuscany. Bordering with the Maremma area all three towns are perched on spurs of tufa stone overlooking deep valleys.

Pitigliano is known as “The Little Jerusalem” as from mid-16th century a community of Jews, mostly fleeing from the city of Rome and papal oppression, decided to settle down there.

The houses of Sorano rise vertically clinging to the tufa. A maze of narrow streets where one can pleasantly walk around among the many craftsmen shops.

Time in Sovana seems to have stood still: the medieval layout of the town has reached our days unchanged. The town boasts a beautiful Romanesque cathedral and a very interesting Etruscan necropolis.

Please specify the location you want to be picked up and the number of the poeple attending the tour as we can send you the most accurate fare.
