A pioneer of the “rediscovery” of indigenous grape varieties, Sergio Mottura has dedicated a lifetime to research and experimentation with traditional techniques and new technology, all in the aim of exploiting the potential of a territory that finds its fullest expression in one particular grape: Grechetto.
His Latour Civitella was the first white wine from Lazio ever awarded “tre bicchieri” (the maximum “three glasses”) by Italy's most prestigious wine guide, who have called it “one of Italy's greatest whites”

12.00 pm Arrival at Sergio Mottura Winery You are welcomed with an aperitif, followed by a guided tour of the ancient underground cellars carved out of the rock and then you will have the lunch at Sergio Mottura Restaurant, La Tana dell'Istrice, where you will enjoy a 5 course menu featuring the traditional dishes of the local tradition. The focus is on “simple” countryside recipes using locally-sourced seasonal products. All dishes are chosen to complement Mottura's award-winning wines.
04.30 pm You are back to your Location*

The service includes:
Transport service by Mercedes E Class or Mercedes minivan with English Speaking driver
Five-course lunch with wines and guided visit of the cellar
